In this newest transition phase, they discuss how kids process traumatic events differently. They break it down and give some relatable examples of how children process hard, complicated or traumatic events – which COVID definitely falls under. They continue to discuss \u201cscaffold parenting\u201d which is based around structure and support. They share how their kids are feeling and how it will be an ongoing process to help them normalize as we transition back to school and social situations.
